ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT

NATIONAL CENTER FOR TRANSGENDER EQUALITY

NCTE was founded in 2003 by transgender activists who recognized the urgent need for policy change to advance transgender equality. With a committed board of directors, a volunteer staff of one, and donated office space, we set out to accomplish what no one had yet done: provide a powerful transgender advocacy presence in Washington, DC

SYLVIA RIVERA LAW PROJECT

The Sylvia Rivera Law Project (SRLP) works to guarantee that all people are free to self-determine their gender identity and expression, regardless of income or race, and without facing harassment, discrimination, or violence. SRLP is a collective organization founded on the understanding that gender self-determination is inextricably intertwined with racial, social and economic justice.

EMERGENCY RELEASE FUND

Central to our mission is the release of minors, Trans, Gender-Non-Conforming, and Intersex folx, whom we believe to be the most impacted by structural violence. We welcome your involvement as our work is driven by volunteers, and we are grateful for your financial support.

TRANSGENDER LAW CENTER

Transgender Law Center (TLC) is the largest national trans-led organization advocating for a world in which all people are free to define themselves and their futures. Grounded in legal expertise and committed to racial justice, TLC employs a variety of community-driven strategies to keep transgender and gender nonconforming people alive, thriving, and fighting for liberation.

TRANS LIFELINE

Trans Lifeline provides trans peer support for our community that’s been divested from police since day one. We’re run by and for trans people.

FOR THE GWORLS

A Black, trans-led collective that curates parties to fundraise money to help Black transgender people pay for their rent, gender-affirming surgeries, smaller co-pays for medicines/doctor’s visits, and travel assistance.
